The European Values Study is a longitudinal survey, started in 1981, on how Europeans think about life, family, work, religion, politics and society. The 1981 Ireland survey was part of the first wave of the European Values Study, which took place from 1981-1984. Data for this survey were released by the European Values Study and as part of the World Values Survey.
