Summary 

This survey was the first Iraq Household Socioeconomic Survey to be implemented. This survey was also part of the Living Standards Measurement Survey family. The purpose of this survey was to collect data on poverty, household expenditures, and income in order to inform policy-making, program planning, and the consumer price index.
