The Involvement and Impact of Road Crashes on the Poor: Bangladesh and India Case Studies report provides incidence estimates for road traffic accident injuries and deaths, as well as an analysis of the impact that road traffic related injury and fatality have on households, particularly those considered low income. The analysis is based mainly on two road traffic injury household surveys conducted in 2000, in Bangladesh, and Bangalore, India, by the United Kingdom Department for International Development.
