India - Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths Report 2006

This report provides an overview on the registration of births and deaths in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Section one of the report describes the administrative set-up of the Civil Registration System (CRS) and the process for the registration of births, still births, and deaths. Section two provides summarized results, analysis, and distribution of main vital indicators recorded under the civil registration system in Delhi during 2006. Section three covers births registration from 1991-2006 for male-female composition. The total number and specific causes of death are provided in tables 8 and 9 in the final section of the report.
