The GBD Study 2010 ( estimated the burden of diseases, injuries, and risk factors globally and for 21 regions for 1990 and 2010.

These files provide estimates for relative risks due to exposure to particulate matter for ischemic heart disease, stroke, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung cancer, acute lower respiratory infection, and the code used to create the estimates. The integrated exposure response curve is based on studies on exposure to ambient air pollution, second hand tobacco smoke, household air pollution, and active smoking.

The GBD Integrated Exposure-Response functions were published in the Journal of Environmental Health Perspectives and presented at the 2013 annual meeting of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology in Basel, Switzerland ( ).  The paper and slides from the presentation are provided here.
