Summary 

This survey was the eigth in a series of Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) surveys on family planning repeated every five years. The 2002 KAP survey collected data from married or cohabitating couples with women aged 15-49 . The objectives of this study included: evaluation of the progress and impact of family planning in Hong Kong, the study of contraceptive usage, the study of ineffective contraceptive usage and failure, the study of the changing needs for family planning and health services at different stages of family formation.
