Homicide Trends in the United States 1976-2005

The report Homicide Trends in the United States, published by the Bureau of Justice Statistics, contains a series of charts that describe homicide patterns and trends in the United States from 1976 to 2005. Trends are explored through examination of the demographic data (age, gender, race), as well as data on victim/offender relationship, law enforcement officers killed, multiple victims and offenders, and circumstance.
