Summary 

The WHO Study on Global Ageing and Adult Health is a longitudinal survey that focuses on the health of adults over 50 years old in six countries: China, Ghana, India, Mexico, Russia, and South Africa. The survey collected information on individual and household demographics, health status, chronic health conditions, risk factors, disabilities, and quality of life.

The first wave of this study in Ghana obtained completed interviews of 5,329 individuals and 5,177 households within urban and rural areas throughout Ghana.
