The first LSMS conducted in Ghana, also referred to as the GLSS, provides data on subjects such as household demographics, household expenses, education, health, economic activities, migration, housing, agriculture, prices of food, pharmaceuticals, and non-food items, and community facilities. Data was collected at the individual, household, and community level. The seventh GLSS was conducted in Ghana from October 2016 to October 2017.
