Summary 

The Germany WHS focuses on the health system and population health. It covers household demographics, health care services and expenditures, ambulatory services, health insurance coverage, and individual health status. A total of 1,259 men and women 18 years of age and older were interviewed for this WHS. The sample was taken from the de facto population and one individual per household was interviewed. Additional areas covered include: tobacco use, health service responsiveness, women’s cancer screening, oral health problems, noncommunicable conditions, and mental health conditions.
