Summary 

From 2004 to 2008 France conducted a rolling census in which different parts of the country were enumerated in January and February of each year. The 2006 France de jure census collected data through face-to-face interviews and self-enumeration on housing, household demographics, employment, education, and migration. The census was conducted from January 19 to February 25.
