This table, updated weekly, contains deaths reported by 35 European Union and affiliated countries by sex and five-year age groups. Although the data span from 2000 to the present, availability of the data varies across years, weeks, and countries. The data provided here are measured in absolute numbers and are collected from national statistical institutes and offices, primarily through county-specific civil, vital, and population registries.
