Summary 

The purpose of the El Salvador Multipurpose Household Survey (EHPM) is to gather data on the socioeconomic and demographic characteristics of households in order to develop indicators to inform programs and services.

The data for the 2014 survey were collected through in-person interviews. The questionnaire contained the topic areas of education, household expenses, agriculture, employment, living conditions, and health.

The sample size for this survey was 19,968 households.
