The survey also sought to determine risk factors for the population. Data were collected through interviews through the use of the composite international diagnostic interview (CIDI). The questionnaire explored the topics of suicidal behavior, alcohol use, tobacco use, and health care use for mental health issues. The sample size for this survey was 1,534 individuals aged 18 to 79 years old. Results of this survey are reported in "Mental Health in the Sociodemographic Context: Results of a Sample Survey in the Czech Republic."
