Summary

The WHO Cholera Annual Report is a compilation of the weekly epidemiological records for the year. In 2011, cholera cases caused by Vibrio cholerae have been reported from 58 countries in all regions of the world. The report excludes cases labeled “acute watery diarrhoea” in southeastern and central Asia.

Report tabulations for 2011 are broken down by region and country and display total number of cases, number of imported cases, number of deaths, and the case fatality rate.
