Cape Verde Statistical Report 2009

This health statistical report from Cape Verde's Ministry of Health primarily includes data from 2009, but for some tables covers 2000-2009 and for others as far back as 1995. Topics include population, all deaths, and deaths for some causes, prevalence and incidence for TB, dengue, leprosy, malaria and other priority diseases, contraception, health services, surgeries, hospital admittance and stay duration, health facilities and personnel, and drug expenditures. Most of the tables are high-level, giving total annual figures for the country, but in some cases, numbers are broken out by region, gender or by both. Population, mortality and infant mortality are by age groups and gender. For the cause of death data, it breaks down deaths into 17 groups.
