They often include other demographic, economic and health-related topics as well. The 2001 Canada de jure census collected data through face-to-face interviews and self-enumeration on housing, household demographics, employment, income, education, migration, and fertility. Private households were enumerated by either the short form questionnaire or the long form questionnaire which was given to one in five households. A variety of other census forms were used to capture other segments of the population. The census day was May 15, 2001. This source appears in the United Nations Demographic Yearbook.
