Brunei Health Information Booklet 2013

The Health Information Booklet is an annual compilation of health-related data for Brunei Darussalam that offers an overview of key health indicators and the status of the health care system. Information includes incidence of morbidity and mortality for vector, infectious, food and water borne, zoonotic, sexually transmitted, and vaccine preventable diseases. There are numbers for male and female inpatient and outpatient morbidity and mortality of the top ten diseases by broad ICD-10 codes. Numbers are available for mortality by type of cancer for both men and women. Regarding the health system, there are numbers for facilities, the kind and number of professional staff, and some information on service provision such as dialysis centers, immunization program coverage, and number of health screenings provided to primary school students. Road traffic accident numbers include those injured, killed, total number of accidents, and number of registered vehicles.
