A short-form questionnaire was used to enumerate the majority of the population while a sample of 6,142,332 households comprised of 20,635,472 individuals, or approximately 10.7% of the population, answered the long-form questionnaire. The long-form questionnaire included additional questions on housing conditions and education as well as modules on employment, assets, and fertility. Enumerators visited households to conduct face-to-face interviews; however, individuals were given the option to complete the census online instead.
