Summary 

The Bangladesh EPI Coverage Evaluation Survey aims to assess the level of immunization in specific target groups and also to measure the effectiveness of national immunization programs. Mothers and caregivers of children aged 0-59 months and women aged 18-49 years were interviewed. The study was carried out between November 20, 2016 and April 2017. Five individual surveys were administered: Childhood Vaccination Coverage Survey; Measles Second Dose Coverage Survey; Tetanus Toxoid Vaccination Coverage Survey (TT Survey) among mothers with children aged 0-11 months; Tetanus Toxoid Vaccination Coverage Survey among the women aged 18-49 years (TT5 Survey); Vitamin A Coverage Survey among the children aged 6-59 months. A total of 184,338 samples were estimated in CES 2016.
