Summary

EPI Coverage Evaluation Surveys measure the effect of the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) on vaccination coverage in Bangladesh. In 2006, the Coverage Evaluation Survey measured the childhood vaccination coverage, tetanus toxoid vaccination coverage among mothers with infants and young women aged 18-25, polio vaccination coverage after a series of National Immunization Days, and measles coverage after a measles vaccination campaign. The sample was drawn to be representative nationally, at urban and rural levels, and for each of the 64 districts and 6 city corporations in Bangladesh.
