Summary 

The Survey of Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders in Bangladesh was conducted from January to June 2013 to determine the validity of home-based screening tools for use of frontline health workers to identify children at-risk for neurodevelopmental impairments (NDIs) and neurodevelopmental disabilities (NDDs). Of those surveyed, 20% were 0-<2 year olds and 80% were 2-9 year olds. A total of 7280 children were surveyed in 8 sites - Dhaka Division, Sylhet Division, Chittagong Division, Khulna Division), Rajshahi Division, Barisal Division, Rangpur Division and Dhaka city in Bangladesh.
