Community dwellings like hotels, hospitals, old-age homes, and caravan parks were also excluded from the survey. Approximately 21,300 people in 16,400 private dwellings were included in the sample. Households underwent further sub-sampling, in which one adult over the age of 18 and one child under the age of 17 were randomly selected for participation and interviewing. The survey collected information on nutrition, alcohol consumption, anthropometry, obesity, smoking, health status, and health conditions.
