Albania Causes of Death 1993-2010 provides annual percentages of deaths by ICD-9 disease group. The underlying data were obtained from death certificates processed by civil registry offices. According to the Albania Institute of Statistics (INSTAT), births and deaths were underreported from 1990-2001. During this period, many registration forms contained inaccuracies and/or were not forwarded properly to INSTAT.
