The survey utilized a two-stage cluster sampling method. Questionnaires were administered at the shura and household level (except for market data collected at the district level). The survey collected data from 20,828 households. Topics included household consumption of food and other items, agricultural activities, maternal and child health, and coping strategies to shocks, such as natural disasters.
