Spain National Drinking Water Information System (SINAC)

The Spain National Drinking Water Information System (SINAC) provides information on the quality and characteristics of drinking water, detects and prevents risks of contaminated water, and facilitates water and health surveillance systems. SINAC also investigates water supply infrastructure such as treatment, storage, and distribution. SINAC also receives certified lab tests from every local water provider on a six-month schedule. Citizens, residents, and researchers may access available water supply data at the province and municipality levels through SINAC’s website.
