Argentina Living Conditions Survey 2001

The precursor to this survey was the 1997 Survey of Social Development or Encuesta de Desarollo Social.

The sample for the 2001 survey was 25,991 urban dwellings located in areas with 5,000 or more inhabitants (approximately 94% of the urban population, and 84% of the national population). Data were collected on households and individuals within these dwellings through a series of questionnaires on the dwelling itself, household demographics, and inhabitants aged 0-4, 5-14, 15-24, and 25 and older. Questionnaires with distinct modules were used for each specific age group. All questionnaires collected information on employment, education, and health topics.
