Summary 

Part of Round 4 of the MICS series, this survey covers major topics such as nutrition, child health, water and sanitation, reproductive health, child marriage, orphanhood, and sexual behavior.

Three questionnaires were used including one for households, one for women between ages 15 to 49, and one for children under age five, completed by mothers or primary care givers.

A total of 9,183 households were enumerated. A total of 9,073 women and 6,025 children were interviewed. The two-stage sample design was adopted using medical clinics in the first stage and family medical histories in the second stage. Sample weights were used to produce national-level data.
