Summary 

The Mental Health Surveillance Study (MHSS) was a 5-year study that surveyed a sub-sample of the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) to collect data on selected mental disorders. Telephone interviews were conducted with a modified version of the Structured Clinical Interview for the DSM (SCID). A total of 5,653 participants completed interviews.
