Report of the WHO Expert Consultation on Foodborne Trematode Infections and Taeniasis/Cysticercosis

This document is the product of a meeting (the Expert Consultation on Foodborne Trematode Infections and Taeniasis/Cysticercosis) which took place from 12-16 October, 2009, in Vientiane, Laos. The meeting's main objective was to address a lack of guidance and resources related to the control of foodborne trematode infections and taeniasis/cysticercosis. This report provides recommendations for managing treatment and supporting program managers in affected countries.
