Summary 

This is the fourth national census for the Dominican Republic. The country was divided into 25 provinces and the national district and then further subdivided into urban municipal districts and rural sections. The 1960 census was more limited in scope than the 1950 census. Questions excluded in this census from the previous census were place of residence, fertility, education, and languages.
