Summary 

The United States National Vital Statistics Report on revised birth and fertility rates for the 1990s, 2000, and 2001 presents data produced for the National Center for Health Statistics, in collaboration with the Census Bureau. Rates are presented by race, ethnicity, age, marital status, and state of residence of mother, and by age and race of father. New rates for mothers of Hispanic origin by age are a focus in the report, as well.
