Cholera Epidemiological Situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo 2011

Prepared by the Cholera Surveillance Unit of Ministry of Public Health in collaboration with the University of Kinshasa, the report details the cholera situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo for 2011. The report includes tables on the number of cases reported, mortality, evolution, distribution, attack rates, and weekly cholera incidence. Most tables in the report are aggregated by province, year, and subregions within provinces. Data reported in this publication come from a Nationa/central database managed by the National Institute of Biomedical Research. In cases where there are discrepancies in the number of cases reported to the central and regional databases, numbers from the regional databases are also provided in the report.
