The Somalia Family Health Survey (SFHS) was conducted in five urban areas by the Family Health Unit of the Somalia Ministry of Health. A total of 3,016 ever married women were interviewed in Mogadishu, Hargeisa, Kismayo, Baydhaba, and Burco. The SFHS was carried out in collaboration with the Westinghouse Health Systems Contraceptive Prevalence Surveys.

The survey covered fertility, family planning methods, immunization, female circumcision, and maternal and child health. The survey report may be available through interlibrary loan.
