Summary

The Zambia HIV/AIDS Service Provision Assessment 2005 (ZHSPA) was part of round 5 of the Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS). It focused on HIV/AIDS services in the country. The sample size was 430 public and private health care facilities. Targeted areas of assessment were the extent of basic and advanced HIV/AIDS services, the availability of record keeping systems for monitoring HIV/AIDS care, the extent of PMTCT services, and availability of youth-friendly services. Data were obtained through a facility resources audit questionnaire and a health worker interview questionnaire. Questions were included for assessment of PEPFAR activities in the country.

GPS coordinates were collected during the survey, but the files were not released.
