Spain United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation Survey 2006

The UNSCEAR Secretariat solicited information from designated officers in Member States through questionnaires on medical radiation usage and exposures, occupational radiation exposures, natural radiation sources, and releases from nuclear power plants, contaminated sites and releases from fuel reprocessing plants. The medical questionnaire forms were updated from those used in the previous surveys to provide improved surveillance of new procedures and the comparison of conventional and digital methods, while still allowing direct comparison with previous survey results.

The 2006 report contains summary data from the 2001, 2004 and 2006 surveys.
