Summary 

The United States National Epidemiologic Survey on Alcohol and Related Conditions 2004-2005, is the second wave of the NESARC study. For the 2004-2005 NESARC survey, data was collected on 34,653 of the initial 43,093 wave 1 participants through computer-assisted personal interviews (CAPI) on personal and family history of alcohol, drug, and tobacco use. Additional topics covered in the survey include treatment for substance related disorders and health conditions such as depression and anxiety.
