Summary 

The Yemen Demographic and Health Survey 2013, also known as the Yemen National Health and Demographic Survey (YNHDS) 2013, is part of phase 6 of the Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) series, a comprehensive, nationally representative household survey series. The 2013 Yemen DHS provides information on child and maternal health, nutrition, immunization, health behavior, female circumcision, and obstetric fistulas. Additionally, the survey provides verbal autopsy for maternal deaths. Data was successfully collected from 25,434 women ages 15-49 from 17,351 households. Men were not included in the sample.
