Summary 

The Qatar Statistics Authority carried out a national labor force sample survey to provide measures of the size and structure of the labor force in Qatar. Topics included employment, unemployment, wages, educational level, and the general characteristics of the labor force and the economically inactive population.

The survey included individuals aged 15 and above, although all household members 10 years old and above were enumerated for certain sections. The survey covered households of all nationalities as well as collective households such as student dormitories. Transient quarters such as hotels were not included. Estimates were based on a national probability sample of 5,492 households and 31,439 persons.
