This health statistics yearbook provides tabular data for general population demographics, mortality, morbidity, disease prevention and health promotion, number and type of health care facilities, equipment, medical specialities, health care personnel, the number and type of health care utilization visits, and health financing information. This report is in both Turkish and English.
The Libyan Family Health Survey 2007 was conducted by the National Center for Disease Control in collaboration with the Pan Arab Project for Family Health (PAPFAM). The survey was completed by 18,629 households, 11,920 ever married women ages 15 to 49, and 3,237 never married adults ages 15 to 24. A health facility questionnaire was completed at 255 facilities.
The survey used four questionnaires covering the following topics: housing characteristics; health status; knowledge of contraception and sexually-transmitted diseases; reproductive health; use of health services; and available services and equipment at health facilties.
The Sri Lanka Annual Health Bulletin 2001 is produced by the Medical Statistics Unit of the Department of Health Services in the Ministry of Health. The report covers the national healthcare system, including number and types of health care facilities; educational requirements for medical personnel; and government expenditures by program. Morbidity and mortality numbers are provided for noncommunicable diseases. The report also publishes service utilization figures such as provision of services to patients by district and type of facility.
