The purpose of this survey was to collect and assess information on the health and development of children and mothers to inform maternal and child health resource and nutrition services planning. Data were collected about mothers ages 15-49 and children under age 5, with face-to-face interview and self-administered questionnaires, anthropometric measurements, and behavioral tests. Data were gathered on household demographics, nutritional and health status, immunizations, autism and developmental delays, child morbidity, education, child protection, infant feeding, and antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care. The children were screened for autism with MCHAT – Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers.

This record is for the first exam of the Puerto Rico Heart Health Program (PRHHP). The study aimed to investigate morbity and mortality from cardiovascular diseases in Puerto Rican rural and urban men. A total of 9,824 men ages 45-64 participated in this examination. The Taiwan National Health Interview Survey 2009 covered topics such as demographic information, health status, health care, and behaviors including smoking, drinking, and drug use. The sample size covered 23 cities and counties with approximately 30,528 participants. The questionnaires were divided by age groups: under 12 years, 12-64 years, and over 65 years of age. The self-answer questionnaires on drug use were also divided by age groups: 12-17 years and 18-64 years of age. In an aim to make processing more efficient and to enhance the quality of data collection, the 2009 survey utilized computer-assisted personal interviewing and computer-assisted self-interviewing.
