Micronutrient deficiencies, prevalence of iodized salt, and aflatoxin exposure in children ages 6 to 59 months and non-pregnant mothers ages 14 to 60 years were also assessed.

The target population of the survey were households with children under five years of age. The survey canvassed 9,360 children from all 13 districts in Timor-Leste.
