Summary 

The Rwanda Malaria Indicator Survey (MIS) 2017 is part of phase 7 of the Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) series. Malaria Indicator Surveys are designed to provide information on malaria prevalence, treatment, and prevention practices. For the 2017 Rwanda MIS, 5,022 women ages 15-49 were successfully interviewed from 5,041 households. Malaria testing was conducted from finger- or heal-prick blood samples for survey respondents 6 months and over.
