Summary 

The Jamaica MICS was carried out in 2011 by the Statistical Institute of Jamaica, with technical support from UNICEF. The Jamaica 2011 MICS is part of the fourth round of the MICS international survey initiative to monitor the situation of children and women. The survey covers health, education, child protection, reproductive health, sexual behavior, and HIV/AIDS knowledge.

Interviews were completed for 5,960 households. A total of 5,032 women and 1,639 children under age five were successfully interviewed.
