Summary
This report provides cancer incidence data from the population-based cancer registry in the governate of El-Minia. The report covers the first year of registration for El-Minia. It is one of five regional registries of the national program, which began in 2008.
The report contains methodology, an overview of incidence, and profiles of the most frequent cancers. Data in the tables are broken down by cancer site, sex, and 5-year age groups for the year 2009. Additional tables contain age-specific incidence rates, age standardized rates, and crude rates. Cancers are coded in ICD-O-3.
