Summary 

The Sri Lanka SPOT Trend Survey on Tobacco used a multi-stage sample design to collect data on a representative population of men ages 15 and older residing in Sri Lanka. The Survey objectives were 1) determine trends and patterns of tobacco smoking; 2) identify the reasons for tobacco smoking among age groups; 3) determine the age age at which the study population begins tobacco smoking; and 3) collect information on how COVID-19 affected tobacco smoking.
