New Zealand Sexually Transmitted Infections Annual Surveillance Report 2012 provides information on the epidemiology of confirmed sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in New Zealand. STI surveillance is conducted by the Institute of Environmental Science and Research, Ltd. for the New Zealand Ministry of Health. STI surveillance data comes from participating sexual health clinics, family planning clinics, student and youth health clinics, and STI testing laboratories in Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and Auckland.
