Summary
The Sweden Monitor Survey is a continuous survey which monitors alcohol consumption in Sweden by combining sales data with a household survey. For the household survey component, 1,500 Swedes ages 16-80 are interviewed by telephone each month. Respondents are asked about their alcohol consumption and purchases over the past 30 days. Estimates of tobacco consumption were incorporated into the project in 2003.
