Summary
The South Africa 2011 Census provides population numbers, household or family size and composition, and information on sex and age distribution. It also includes other demographic, economic, and health-related topics.
A post-enumeration survey was conducted in November and December of 2011 in order to collect high quality data that could be compared to the census data. This process allowed the evaluation of coverage and content errors of the census.
