Summary
The Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS) is designed to produce national and subnational estimates on tobacco use. The Romania GATS was conducted in 2011 and surveyed 4,601 men and women ages 15 and older. The survey featured questions on smoking and smokeless tobacco use, cessation, secondhand smoke, economics, media, and knowledge, attitudes, and perceptions.
